December Update
here's a quick update from everything since Thanksgiving. First, I've been working on a tighter schedule than last month, a lot more opportunities have been presented to put me ahead of the pack, but i'm still getting used to what to expect on a "normal" day. I was given the chance to head up our holiday party, well one of them anyway. It turned out to be better than i expected, unfortunately thanks to a lack of creativity we had the same theme as a neighboring group. then again its a relatively small town, so its not surprising that several groups would buy the same decorations from the same store. no worries. it's all in good fun and nothing to stress about. I've finished my classes for the month and have a few training days left along with my normal work schedule. It's kind of weird working the days i do, i hadn't really noticed christmas is only a week away until today. i haven't even sent my presents back home. but they can wait, i figure a present is more surprising when you're not expecting one.
I bought some new clothes, seeing as my wardrobe hasn't changed much since i started college, save a few t shirts, but those don't do a whole lot of good in -50 degree weather. so i imagine i'll be on the lookout for more long sleeve shirts and the like. Also, given the vast amount of games and movies out now i've joined netflix, and started renting games more often from the video store. its the cheapest way to find out what i like so i can buy it without wasting too much money on the games i'll only play once. my xbox combined with my netflix account equals most tv shows i love accessible at any time, in pretty good resolution, with full seasons. same with movies to make the days go by quicker.
I've been thinking a bit more about studying programming again on the side. As far as a master's degree i think it's best career wise to check out an MBA. I've been leaning towards marketing and advertising, but that research will be done once i'm comfortable with my job.
